CoVision workshops support alignment building in critical meetings or in virtual teams. They are available in flexible formats and in public or internal, customized versions.
 


  “Accelerating Alignment in Large Groups”

This half-day workshop lays out the fastest approach for achieving alignment in large groups. It provides a model for understanding how alignment is built in groups through the use of a robust process “engine”, an exploration of the technical and communications environment in which today’s leaders forge alignment, and a discussion of the new competencies and practices necessary for navigating this environment.

Workshop participants will learn what it means to build through the “Levels of Trust” in a group. They will learn about feedback-cycles and how to accelerate them. They will learn how the tools for accelerating feedback differ in the three common group-work modes. And they will learn how to leverage feedback cycles in the three modes to build alignment most quickly and then sustain it in day-to-day operations.

  “Accelerating Alignment in Senior Leadership Meetings”

This workshop enables design teams to co-create the most effective top-of-company meetings, with CoVision supervision. We first provide a model for understanding how alignment builds in groups, and a detailed look at the engine that powers the development of alignment – especially in large groups. The workshop then outlines a new role that enables accelerated feedback cycles in large groups, a format that exploits that swift feedback, and a simple method for presenters to use the feedback to move the group forward.

Workshop participants will learn what it means to build through the Levels of Trust in a group. They will learn about feedback-cycles and how to accelerate them. They will learn how to use a “Theme Team” to synthesize the group’s input quickly. They will learn simple ways to adapt agendas to capitalize on rapid feedback. And they will learn how to coach presenters to respond to feedback and move the group forward.

  “Virtual Team Optimization” (VTO)

This workshop (or series of sessions) is designed to turbo-charge an ongoing critical virtual team process. First, the challenges facing virtual teams are named and then prioritized in terms of the current situation. Then, the processes and tools designed to overcome the limitations of time and distance are presented and customized for the current project. Over the course of the workshop/sessions, work is accomplished, individual and collective effort is maximized, and the learnings are harvested.
